How do you change your sims language to english

can anyone help, we have sims 2, loaded it in and the script is in english but the sound id french (lol) can any one help convert it back to english

Why aren't my Sims speaking English?

Answer:
The Sims speak their own gibberish language. They can't speak any real language. Check their thought and speech bubbles to decipher what they are talking and thinking about.
