I am having issues with my new system build. this is my first build and my components are as follows:

Antec 900 case
650w power supply
8Gb kingston RAM
2X500 Gb caviar black western digital hdd
samsung dvd drive
Evga 780i motherboard
evga gtx 260 superclocked edition vid card
Intel core 2 duo processer

I believe I have installed all the components correctly and have checked all data and power connections.
My issue is that when I turn my system on it at random times turns off. No set intervals, usually not nearly enough time for anything to get hot. I have tried unsuccessfully to diagnose. If anyone knows I would welcome your advice or ideas.

Does it crash when you are using it or after it has been to sleep (my system was crashing until I turned off sleep mode)? Have you run any memory tests?

It has never made it into sleep mode and last night I left it one all night and it never crashed. I believe you are right about the psu. Because whenever I run a hardware test it crashes when it gets to graphics. I then looked and saw that my psu does not have the proper amperage for my video card. I have ordered a new corsair psu that IS compatible. I appreciate all of your help and suggestions.
