I have a Asus Eee PC 701, its current processer is a Mobile IntelĀ® CeleronĀ® Processor 353 (link)http://processorfinder.intel.com/details.aspx?sSpec=SL7F7(link) would i be correct in thinking that the 390 series will work in this laptop or will it run hot? it has the same architecture, but im still not shure. thanks.
The 353 has a TDP of 5W whereas the 390 has a TDP of 27W so even if it was physically possible to change it and it was electrically/BIOS compatible (which it probably isn't) it would run too hot.
