i am looking to set up a watercooling loop for a Phenom II x4 but on all the sites i have looked i.e. new egg, frozencpu, among others under the cpu waterblock sections it will only have options to buy AM2 blocks, along with all intel chips.

can you use AM2 water blocks with AM3 sockets?

thank you

I ordered an XSPC Rasa + AMD bracket. Its probably not the 'prettiest' block but the price at is decent and it'll work on an Intel in the future if I ever go that way.
