i'm getting a new laptop soon, with 1 stick of 2gb ddr2 800mhz memory in. i want a bit of head room though, since i want to play crysis on it. so i have the option of upgrading to 3gb or 4gb, the latter being in dual channel mode. is it worth the extra £10?

also i'll be in vista 32 bit, so i won't get the full extra gig anyway.

£10? ABSOLUTELY. 2GB will choke you in regular computing in vista, not to mention games. Go for 4GB.

its worth 10lbs just to run in dual channel mode.

the xtra gig is icing.

tho i think ud run in dual channel mode with 3 gigs. i think.

If its a laptop, you should always max out the memory.... specially if using an OS like
vista home crash edition (Vista 32bit)......
