Dear Friend/Sir,

i have an Intel DG31PR original motherboard which have PCIe x16 v1.0(slot ver) for graphic card.
for more details.....http://www.intel.com/products/desktop/motherboards/DG31...
on this site they have not mentioned the PCIe slot version. the version i mentioned above i got it by installing Everest ultimate software(which gives whole information about your system).
so my question is can PCIe v2.0(slot ver)graphic card is compatible with PCIe v1.0(slot ver) motherboard.
and please suggest me a best suitable graphic card from Nvidia latest series for my motherboard.

Thanks & regards
Meghan

PCIe 2.0 is backward compatible. What's your budget for the card and what do you plant o do with it? Also why nVidia? Any specific reason (ie CUDA)?
