Hi. Quick thing. Wanted to check if my video card is having issues(8800gt) so I thought I'd pop in my old Radeon X1800. I figured I'd uninstall the nvidia drivers. Turn off the comp, pop in the x1800, and then proceed to check things out. I get to the windows loading screen, then after that, the monitor seems to "not detect anything".

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

reinstall the 8800gt and boot up. This time try removing/uninstalling the hardware from from the device manager. Uninstall the Nvidia drivers as well.

Try booting up again after doing that with the ATI card.

I think it's getting the point where you need to reload the entire OS just to switch video cards from ATI to NVidia and vice versa...

In any event, give what Jaysin said a try, that should do the trick...
