This was a file download from old WIN XP PC TO new win7 pc
via transfer wizard it shows on my docs but will not open
MSG This is not valid WIN 32 APPLICATION

Right, it's a file, but what type of file? An application, a document, etc...? What format if a document? If it's an application, is it compatable with your Win 7 version? 32 bit, 64 bit, will it even run on 7? If it's an application try to run it in compatability mode. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US [...] of-Windows

problem solved set up old pc and downloaded what I needed to 16gb
flash drive
thank you most kindly for assistance given to me
fingers crossed -this old Vet looks forward to carefree peace of mind
