Losing connection on one website

Hi, this is my first post and I am a total novice so please be gentle! We have a dlink di-524 wireless router which has worked perfectly for the last couple of years. However, since getting a new (second hand) laptop I lose connectivity frequently. It seems to happen mainly on one site which is confusing and frustrating me as it is a site I use frequently. My husband's laptop is fine and I can use this site fine on his, but not mine.
Anything you need to know about spec etc just yell!

Try switching to a different internet browser -- some have problems with certain sites.

I use Firefox and it seems reliable.

Well, that's made no difference unfortunately, it now says the connection has timed out. Thanks anyway!

Check that you have the latest Adobe Flash version installed.

Make sure that Flash blocking isn't on (probably isn't as it's an add-on for Firefox as I recall.

Make sure that you allow popups and cookies but clear cookies first before you visit the site next time.

Have you tried emailing the site's webmaster to ask what's going on -- you may not be the first to suffer the problem and they might have a solution..
