No USB 2.0 after reinstall

I know this is a stupid and simple question, but I can't find the answer I need.
I have an hp a1750e and, after a reinstall of Vista, I seem to be missing USB 2.0.
My devices are having difficulty being detected and a thumb drive which used to work for readyboost, now says it's not a device capable of this. So, what do I need to do to rectify this?

Thanks

More about reinstall
  1. You need to download the chipset drivers and the usb drivers from HP support.
  2. Here's the link to my computer's HP page... I don't see the chipset or usb drivers listed.
