PC cant get past loading screen

Hey all i have a few quick questions. Im trying to fix my brothers pc and its not really working. He has an alienware pc and its acting up. When i started the pc it goes thru the normal process till it gets to scanning ide driver, bio not installed. I disabled the promise controller and that made the message go away. But now i cant even get past the windows loading screen, the bar moves for a little while then the pc restarts. i tried this in ever boot possible, safe mood, normal windows, and so on. Please some help would be appreciated.

As you bought the PC from a retailer who assembled it for you, I suggest you contact them for more details. Is it still under warranty?
