Updating PPC WMPlayer tolatest version

Trying to update Windows Media Player (V8.0 in Audivox Maestra PPC) to latest
version. Wehn I go to MS Pocket PC page it shows a V10 & 9, but when I click
on Download, I got o a page listing several WMP versions (V10 & 9) for
different opperating systems ie, 98, Xp etc. but nothing about pocket pc.
How can I get the latest WMP?

The most recent version you can get by *download* for PPC is media
player 8, which it seems you've got already. Media player 9 was built
into the operating system (WM2003) and there's no way to download it
from anywhere.

So I'm afraid you're stuck with WMP8 unless you can get a ROM update
for your device to WM2003 operating system. This would come from your
device manufacturer.
