i've just brought a brand new asus p6t deluxe v2 motherboard and an antec skeleton but have found that none of the holes on the motherboard tray align to the actual motherboard ...what am I supposed to do????

You should be able to unscrew the offsets and remount them in holes on the mobo tray that correspond with your mobo.

You didn't buy the Antec Mini Skeleton did you?
The regular Antec Skeleton is ATX compatible which means that it will work. Double check how it sets, its orientation, and if all else fails, look in the manual for the case.
