I have a Q8200 in a Gigabyte UD3R P45 mobo, my multiplier is always 6 during startup, and hits 6.5 ubder load, when i go to bios and set it to 7 it doesnt give me a problem but when the comp restarts and loads the OS it goes back to 6, is there a feature in the mobo i can disable to stop this from happening?

I am assuming this is an EP45-UD3R? GB doesn't list any 'plain' (no 'E' prefix) P45s...

On the "Advanced BIOS Features" page:

"CPU Enhanced Halt (C1E)" to "Disabled"
"C2/C2E State Support" to "Disabled"
"C4/C4E State Support" to "Disabled"
"CPU EIST Function" to "Disabled"

On the "MB Intelligent Tweaker(M.I.T.)" page:

"Robust Graphics Booster" to "Auto"

"C.I.A.2" to "Disabled"
This will disable all the clock/voltage 'on-demand' green features, and get it to stop messing with your clocks; if you have their "Dynamic Energy Saver" running, it will complain after these settings - simply uninstall it...
