Write protection error romover

how is write protection removed from usb memory stick

There typically is a switche on the USB stick with a lock symbol to unlock and lock it, switch it to the other location. If your drive doesnt have such a switch then you may not be able to write to it peroid, some flash drives (from conferences) come write protected. Have you ever been able to write to this device?
Did the device come with anysoftware that would prevent writing to it (like a USB encryption program)
