doubtful that even a 4 ghz CPu will help with phyxS, but keep us posted I'm going to run it on my laptop....and maybe my main, but sooo lazy haha.

Well, when I have it run a full blown PhysX implementation, with all of the eye candy maxxed out at 1920x1200, I can get an incredible...


11.2FPS...

Min: 4.3
Max:47.1

It only fully loaded a single core though - if they bothered to multithread the PhysX, it would probably go fast enough to be perfectly playable.

jesus christ, this thing is long....I just couldn't stay through it but my avg on my laptop was 15-20 fps..... 1400x900 Maxed everything.

I'm not staying through this tech demo again haha.

I'm uploading my video of demo bench (30sec of it) with physix running running on cpu and then physix played on gpu (4870) [youtube.com/vagmonster666]

Is it me but the benchmark plays smoother using gpu for the physix....?
I played the demo on 1680x1050 16xx all maxed

mine didn't work. i have no Physx. Is there a Physx driver for ATI?

Nope. You should still get it to run though, it'll just use the CPU for PhysX (quite slow - as posted above, I got 11FPS on a 4GHz i7)

What shall i do?

download the latest physX pack from Nvidia, and see if it works with that.

Even without a physX card it might help the game.

q 9450 msi p7n diamond. 8 gigs ocz pc2 8500 reaper,wd black 1 tb, 2 gtx 285 sli. Settings were completly maxed out.

It should have installed the PhysX drivers and such when it installed the demo.

yeah but I would suggest the latest ones If i'm not mistaken, but I'm not to sure, because I couldn't give 2 rats ASSES about physX but its still sexy to look out, I just beleive its worth the performance reduction Much like shadows for some games
