Too lazy to go to Gigabyte website and look yourself? Its amazing how many suckers are willing to do the work for you....

i did before i ask but i'm getting confused as it says here that it has AM2 socket when the phenom processors are AM2+ and i don no the difference between them...second he says here

 

"(Note) If you install AMD AM2+ CPU on AM2 motherbord, the system bus speed will downgrade from HT3.0(5200MHz) to HT1.0(2000 MT/s) spec; however, the frequency of AM2+ CPU will not be impacted."

 

so i asked to know if anyone has tried to put that processor on that board.

Phenom processors are total crap. You only want a Phenom 2 processor, and for that you will need an AM2+ mobo.
