Ok i have a ultra 650w psu right now, and it has 2x6 ping pci-e connectors, which supports my single 9800gtx+

but ima build a new computer, and im going to have 9800gtx+ in SLI, all i need to know is can i use a power supply that has say 2x6 pin , and 2x6+2 pin on the cards, not using the 2 pin on the second 2

or do i need 4x6 pin

or 4x6+2 pin

another question, any ddr3 am3 sli supported boards out there?

Yes.

Not that I know of. Basically, nVidia does SLI. AMD does Crossfire.
