Going for a motherboard repair is not an easy task as you are dealing with a complex architecture and you should not involve in the repair work unless you are an expert at it. Search for some good sites over the internet to get some reliable information or take your machine to the authorized vendor only.

Outside of replacing bad capacitors, there's not much you can do. When you return a prebuilt, the service center looks at it and tests the CPU, RAM, and PSU. If they conclude that the problem is the motherboard, they pull the old one and replace it.
Outside of the factory, it's just not cost effective to try to repair it.
