Only $20 difference. I had the Samsung originally, but I like the BenQ Styling and 16:9 Aspect ratio better. But, it's more expensive. And I question the brand.

If any one has any other monitors for under $300 and preferrably free shipping, runs 1920x1080 or 1920x1200, 60Hz Refresh, DVI,>24, etc., post it here.

EDIT: How about this one? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236049

Also, does this card even do 1920x1080?

In the future, everyone will be gaming with Full HD 1080P LCD Monitor since I bet that 1080P will be the standard resolution of most televisions and monitors.

ASUS VH226H and ACER H213Hbmid are very good deals with Full HD 1080P.

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Produ [...] =H213Hbmid

In the future, 1080P will also work with smaller monitors like 20 inch or 21 inch or 22 inch and this is because companies knew that 24 inch is a little bit too big and that in the past, it is difficult to make a smaller monitor with Full HD 1080P so now they made the smaller ones with Full HD 1080P capable.

However, there are also 24 inch versions which are ASUS VH246H and ACER H243Hbmid (If I'm correct).

I was also wondering about how 1080P will affect the gaming because for now, I know that 1080P is normally use more for HD Movies than Games.

Please note that ASUS VH226H is GTG so 2ms response time is not accurate. GTG "Gray to Gray" will not tell you exactly the correct response time so don't get fool by GTG 2ms and this does not mean that it is faster than ACER H213Hbmid with 5ms.

OOOOPs. You are right. That was actually my other post from other similar thread which is still a good advice for you but I did not notice that the links are now broken. :D

Anyway, here are the new links from newegg.com:

ACER 21.5" and 23.5"

ASUS 21.5" and 23.5"

Slightly Older version: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236053

Newer version/Revision: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236051

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236052&Tpk=VH242H

PS: I don't know if there is a revision of ASUS VH242H. The revision should have been call as VH246H but newegg does not have it. Also, these monitors are Year 2009 monitors or new products of 2009 and they were recently released so they are very new.
