Need XP Service Pack 2 please

Hi,

Does anyone have a source to download win XP service pack 2? It's no longer available from MS and Googling it just turns up phoney downloads.

I had to install Win XP in place of Win 7 because it wouldn't recognise my older video card and system just slowed everything down to a crawl and wouldn't play videos. I had win XP service pack 3 installed too but only got 4 bit color. XP without service packs works fine but it wont allow me to install Acrobat or Office.

after you in stalled SP3 did you install the video driver? usually 4-bit colour means you are not using the right drivers

Usually contacting your video mfgr and getting their software will get good install. Then, if you still have the SP3 you should be ok. In that interim, your video may be minimal.

Sounds more like a driver issue with the video chipset. Try figuring who the manufacturer is and download the drivers from the company's site
