Is the i7920 or i7950 better to over clock?? Also would it be smarter to start with 1 very good graphics card and save up for the second or buy 2 lower grade one's?? thanks every one I have $2,200.00 ready to buy!! So next is a 1200 Watt PSU over kill?? What is the best amount of DDR3 to start your build with.. Should I use Microsoft 7 premium or Ultimate??

Hey i just built a rig recently.. I ran a i7 930 and oc'd it to 4.2 stable on air alone..
I also have a geforce gtx 295 and it will run every game on max graphics getting 2 of those is a little overkill.. I ran 6gb@1600mhz OCZ ram at 8-8-8-24.ddr3
All that is running off of a 850w psu and an additional 400w psu for the video card.
As far as an OS goes i am running Windows 7 ultimate with no problems

Hope this helps you out!

Hey built my computer it went great spent about 3 hrs doing all the hard wear and 3 hrs doing the wiring installing the OS booted rite up used the ASUS Bios update flashed the MB up date all the other drivers for the rest of the stuff. I am going to spend the money to buy the i7980X and add the second 5870 Graphics Card card add the CrossFireX Cables run my FutureMark see where my score comes out at.. The one thing I am going to up date too is my SSD want to get a SATA III 256GB I have a 1.5TB 64MB Hard Drive to store other photos videos music stuff that over there.. All in all I had a great build could do it again for people to make some cash on the side....Thanks for your input game ON!!!

^You're seriously thinking of getting a 980X for gaming?

Wow...

Sorry, but for gaming, that's not sensible at all. But I guess people with money like throwing it at expensive stuff so if that's the case, good luck with it!

i have a i5-661 at 4.16GHz on AIR cooling as well.......on a mini ITX build......

as far as getting cards i would say one good card and another card for physX

as for memory i would say 6GBs would be plenty for gaming and 1200W is a bit overkill but hell.....WHY NOT if thats what you want!!
