System restore to a time before you updated your anti-virus 3. Defragment your drive 4. THEN Re-install any updates needed I've noticed that I tend to get way more random unexplainable problems when I neglect regularly defragmenting the drive. Also as the drive gets fuller the fragmentation seems to accelerate markedly. Running a good 3rd party defrag to make sure this whole aspect of normal drive maintenance actually gets done has noticeably decreased the number of issues I get. I pass this along for what it's worth. There are a lot of good 3rd party defrags out there check this link out to find out more if you're interested: TOP DEFRAG REVIEW 2011 Hope this helps Cheers! m 0 l Can't find your answer ? Ask !
