Ok, so at where i live, Palit's 4850 is cheaper than Sapphire's. So i was going to buy it when i read that Palit was closing down. Or should I get a Zotac GTS 250 512 which is the same price as Sapphire's 4850? Sapphire's 4830 is even cheaper than Palit's 4850. Perhaps an overclock to the 4830 will do?

Any of those cards would give very good performance. But, if the GTS 250 is the same price, I would definitely go with the GTS 250 (Pretty much a polished 9800 GTX+)
i would definitely get the 4850...
its 20% cheaper than the gts 250 (where u live) and it is faster, gts 250 its the same
as the 9800gtx+.
i have my 4850 OC'ed to 690/2320 and I'm sure it is faster than the 250/9800gtx+...
Wow, I did not know that Palit was closing down....
I use to own a Palit 9600GT with an HDMI port and I loved the card, never had any problems with it.
To bad they have to go....
Sorry, i meant the 4830 is 80% of the GTS 250's price. If I do a 15-20% OC to the 4830, will it be comparable to the GTS 250? Also, how overclockable is Zotac's GTS 250?

the 4830 can perform on par with a stock 4850, which would be near to the stock gts 250, but the gts 250 can overclock very well so oc'ing it will leave the 4830 behind...
