Does anyone know how to get these bolts (circled in pink) off? When I tug on the fan the entire motherboard wiggles. It doesn't appear to be bonded to the CPU because I can slip a screwdriver underneath.
Uber may have a clever name and a cute smiley, but he clearly has never repaired a laptop, and should not be offering 'help' for subjects about which he knows nothing. The solution is simple:
There is a normal, ordinary screw that must be turned from the OTHER SIDE of the motherboard! That means the board must first be removed and turned over.

Yup, figured that out eventually. It's going to be a pain. Thanks!
