Replacing my 7800GTX

Hi all!
My first post! I would be most grateful if someone could advice me in my quest for a new graphics card. Or at least point me in a direction. Yes, I know there is a search function (and a “The best gaming card short list”) but probably because I’m such a lousy searcher I haven’t found anything that makes me any wiser…

This is what I got today:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ Dual-Core Processor, 2GB RAM, Geforce 7800 GTX 256MB PCI-E, SB Audigy 2 ZS

And this is what I’m looking for:
- A reasonable cheap card (mid range?) card. Nvidia or ATI doesn’t matter.
- A card that gives me a noticeable increase in frames per second.
- A card that doesn’t force me to replace the power supply.

Some of the games I play today: MSFS2004, Lock-On, STCC, GTR Evolution, ArmA, Ghost Recon Advanced War Fighter, Bioshock etc.

I must admit that I don’t have any major performance concerns with these games, but it would be nice to prolong the life of my computer before I give it to my children. I buy myself a new MONSTER rig!

Look to either the 9800GT or HD4830, both will give a nice boost to frames and use the same amount of power.
