I asked for help yesterday. Several people looked at my post but not 1 answerd me.
I think the people in here know how to do this . I DO NOT !!
I am not good at this.

So
I got this computer at a yard sale. I know nothing more about it

It's an E-max V700
The motherboard is MSI
645E Max-U
MS-6547 (v2.1) ATX Mainboard
Version 2.2
G52-MA00646
I got this info off the motherboard, I am guessing it's correct.

I need to know how to hook up the case wires ,
I know about the power supply and IDE & Floppy drives .

But I can't figure out the rest.

The HDDLED, PWRSW,RESETSW,
Also 1Ground , 1+D , 1_D , 1VCC
2Ground , 2+D , 2_D , 2VCC

I got the Manualbut I don't know enough to know where to put all those wires. I think I got the USB,s (they are on a single plug)

But I can't figure out the rest.

if you click here and then click on U.S. This will get you to the motherboard manual .

http://www.msi.com/index.php?func= [...] ype=manual
It shows everything but there are no labels

I need HELP !

I think if you click here and then click on U.S. This will get you to the motherboard manual .
http://www.msi.com/index.php?func= [...] ype=manual

I hope someone can help me.

THANKS,

Ok, you need a camera, www.photobucket.com , then create an account and upload the pics to that website... After you are done with that let me know and I will walk you through the rest of the process.....

thanks again for all your help.
I hooked up the power and reset and 1 set of USB's .
The CPU and case fans come on but I get nothing on the screen.
I have another CPU (celeron 2.93gig socket 478) like the other1 .I will try that.
See if it works.
Again Thanks.

Just make sure you have main power connector plugged in, located by the memory slots. And the AUX power connector, the 4-pin plug located near the mouse and keyboard plugs.

A known good video card (if you have one) or the one that came with the system.

And just one stick of RAM.

Make sure your case speaker is plugged in.... part of the JFP1 connector. This will allow you to hear any beeps the computer makes during POST.

You don't need any drives connected when your just trying to get iyt to POST and get a screen display.
