hi, i am recording using a soundcard which comes with pc. I have noticed that the quality of recording is always lacking. Will a better sound card improve it and how ? n which soundcard should i buy ? my range is about 200$

im no expert, but the recording studio sites use pro recording sound cards . a good start would be the m-audio cards .they all frown on the sound blaster cards - they are not for pro recording. here are some sites too read up on.
