i would like to keep the Intel build under 700 no need for case or power supply. i just want to know what it takes to accive the framerates in WOW
of 50 fps in 25 man Naxx Raid. Wow has a huge fanbase and no Benchmark
i play NO other game just WOW AT 1280x1024 and want 50 FPS. i dont know if its a video card game or a CPU game. Would it work better on a 2 or 4 core. i am thinking about a q6600 or a e7200-e7400 i just wish thier was a wow benchmark in raids. will be running xp-pro as a OS with 2-3 GB of ram and 2 hard drives one for the OS 100GB or less and the Other for
WOW probably 250GB partioned in 40 GB logical drives so to stop fragmentation.





But the question is What does it take to get 50 FPS at 1280X1024 in World of warcraft ie WOW in a 25 man raid inside NAXX?

I'd say e7400 with a light OC ~3.2 (doable on stock cooling) with a 4850 1gb.

the e8500 has done nicely on the benchmarks if the cpu is the case. But if its about video cards the hd4830 has done a great price drop and is more than capable of bringing 25 raids in hd. But if none of this works you should try to check your connection.

You're between a 9800 or a 260.

If you do get a 260, make sure its the 216 model.
