4890 in Dailytech

Some information about ATI Radeon 4890 from Dailytech. Seems to be small upgrade from 4870, so not so bad, but not a big leap either.

Just seems..well is, a overclocked 4870. AMD shouldn't even be releaseing this, I want them to work on the NEXT gen of their gpus with the smaller, 45nm is it? chipset

The middle and low end chips will be 40nm. Upper end of ATI cards will be 55nm. Seems to be so that 40 nm proses is not ready for high speed at this moment.
It was common practice in "old days" to release budget chips with newer technology first.
The real guestion is when first DX11 cards will be out? There are some improvements in 4890 over the 4870 other than clock speed according to article, but it seems not to be DX11 card?
