I was thinking about putting Zotac's ION mobo in a 1U server chassis, but I don't know if it would work.
See, I think a server chassis would be great for use with the Ion platform.
Cause it would be small and light and since the Zotac mobo has a passive heatsink that can't be any taller than regular RAM, I would assume it fits.
The specifications tab on the Chassis page doesn't list that it works with mini-ITX, but I'm being optimistic.
For once.
Plus, the page on newegg for my Current case said nothing about mini-ITX fitting but inside the case it indicates where to put the standoffs for a mini-ITX.

And All I really need for a case would be a Hard drive, mobo and the RAM with the ION platform.
Because I could install an OS with the hard drive in my regular tower so disc drives wouldn't matter.

So, Zotac and Chassis

I expect to be shot down. D:

Well, it's possible... you'll need an adapter which will make your motherboard fit nicely into the server chassis. Like this.
