Gigabyte GA-MA790X-Ud4P

I cannot get my brand new GA-MA790X-UD4P to boot.

CPU - AMD Phenom II X3 2.8
GeForce GTS 250
G.Skill PC2-8500 RAM
Antec 500 watt powersupply

Does anyone have any ideas on why my system will not booy?

Do you have both the 24 pin and 8 pin power cables connected?

I was missing the 8 pin power cable. It was been awhile since I built a PC and the last time I built a PC, they did not have the 8 pin power cables.

Stick the 4 pin power conector that comes from the power supply unit (PSU) to the right 4 pins of the total 8 pins on the motherboard's connector so its like that
