Hello, i am currently tring to get my i5 760 to the magic 4.0Ghz and am stuck at 3.8.
When i go to 4Ghz i get an error message from P95 after 3 minutes sarying "FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4
Hardware failure detected"

I have done a little research but came to 2 conclusions, either memory or CPU. could anyone shed some light on my situation?
Some say to up voltages, can the i5 760 go higher? is it safe to go past 1.4v?

I wouldn't put it past 1.4v.

What mobo? some simply overclock better then others.
That might be its limit.
A P55 will generally oc better then a H55.

When this error is seen running a cpu at stock speeds, its almost always a memory issue. So I guess I'd start there.
