Oh I understand about the link for best heaksink list. Low heat is Corsair A70 and Cooler Master V6 GT. :bounce: WOW Zalman CNPS9700 is not on list... However I know the Noctua ND-D14, it is very big heatsink/fans but I don't like Noctua ND-D14 for high price!!! :ouch: :pfff:

Thank you for show linking the heatsink list review, What do you think better Corsair A70 or Cooler Master V6 GT on AMD Phenom II x4 965 Black?

The Zalman Performa is a good cooler for its price or the Hyper 212+. Your also compparing different price points. I mean the V6 GT is 70$ while the A70 is 50$. If you ask me, to cool a 965 at 4.0ghz you don't even need that expensive of cooling. A hyper 212+ at 30$ or a Mugen 2 40$ is good enough even at 4.0ghz. At 3.9 @ 1.49v with a V8 I get 6-8*C below 65*C so that's with a V8. So just my opinion if you should buy any cooler.

The best choice is the V6 GT it cools the best if you really wanted just those choices. As it cools the best. However for the price the A70 performs on par with the V6 GT and is 20$ less, so the A70 would be better for the money.

It would be rare to find that Zalman on any heatsink review done in the last year or so it's over 4 yrs old and was made for 775/AMD 2 sockets.
Zalman makes much better coolers like the Performa as aznshinobi mentioned that have replaceable fans.
The most important thing missing from your post is the case you're using.
The V6GT is huge and 165mm tall that's large enough to eliminate it from installing in alot of mid-towers.
Plus i also agree with what aznshinobi says in regards to what's required to cool a 965.
For my money the A70 is a terrific value for the cooling performance it offers.
