Hi!
I'm trying to assemble my first own build pc and I'm encountering really strange problem, and I think my memory might be incompatible with the motherboard. When I insert it, I get no POST beeps and the system fails to boot, ven though all fans start spinning and the standby light is on.. Yet, when the memory is out, the POST beeps I get are one long, two short, which should point towards videocard rather than memory problem.
Does anyone have any experience with something similar?
CPU: E8400
MB: ASUS P5N32-E SLI
GPU: NVIDIA 9600GT, 512MB
Memory: OCZ Titatium DDR2-PC26400, 2x2G Dual Channel (I've tried using just one stick in diffferent slots)
Any thoughs and advice would be much appreciated
