Well, that is pretty much exactly what everyone thought.

Curious though, has anyone out there benched a 295 with one core disabled? I wonder how close that would be to this guy.

yeah it looks like it, but its still bus width limited and only 896 megs. So it still has its downfall.

But its only 250$ basically. And it will be stronger than the 4870 1 GIG.

gee-wiz another 4870 killer.

a slightly overclcocked 55nm gtx260-216 already rapes a 48701gb.

makes my 4870 1gb laughable, lol. and now this gtx275? hopefully i'd be able to dispose of my 4870 before its value runs dry.

i just wonder in which segment this will end up with. and how low will this card push the 260s down? and considering that the "price halo" of ati becomes thinner and thinner every week.

I fully expect the price/performance of the 275 compared to the 4890 to be very similar to that of the 4870 to 260 (1gig and 216 versions respectively) we see currently.

Based on the sepcs here, and assumign ATI doesn't release something totally surprising in april the 275 shoudl edge out the 4890, with the 4890 coming in a few dollars cheeper. I dont see the landscape changing particularly much.. just a couple revision cards coming out to replace what we are seeing now in the same price segment.
