Hi,

I have had my pc for about a year and a half now, I'm using a Thermaltake 430w power supply, and running

* Core2duo e6600
* Gigabyte 965P DS3P
* 4x 1gig Gskill ram
* Nvidia 8800 GTS OC 640mb
* 3 hard drives
* DVD Burner
* 2 case fans

my house mate has the exact same setup but he is using an iCUTE 600w power supply.
It seems that he gets better FPS in wow with the same graphic settings besides the resolution he runs a 22" lcd at 1920x1080 resolution and I only run a 19" lcd at 1440x900 resolution, also I keep my pc defraged, the registry running clean and no viruses (I don't go porn browsing).

Is it possible that my power supply is holding my pc back performance wise?

I know that Nvidia has alerts that notify you if the card isn't getting enough power, but i have never had one of them.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

this Thermaltake 430 power supply? It's actually a 350W PSU.

Have you both run a 1440x900 3dMark06 benchmark yet? (your friend will run his in 14x9 window mode)
Compare and report 3dmark06 scores.
