I've never really heard of them. These are the RAM brands I usually stick too. Crucial, Kingston, Corsair, OCZ. Do you have to have DDR2 533MHz ram?

Ive seen them on Newegg, but have never heard any good/bad news about them.

G.Skill is a lesser known brand, but they deliver high quality products at very good prices.

Yeah G.Skill is a good RAM company, many of my friends use it. Personally I own Crucial RAM.

Wintec is ok, but try to stick to: OCZ, Crucial, Geil, and G.Skill. Any way it goes the cheapest Wintec is better than any Kingston product now.

This "Wintec Ampo" RAM looks pretty cheap, and it looks like you are not planning on overclocking or looking for ultimate performance. So you should just buy it.

A while ago Wintec Ampo was used in Tom's budget builds.
I have it at stock. No problems.
I would go with DDR2-800.

We've used it in budget builds before, seems like decent stuff. May not OC the best or anything like that, but if you want cheap and functional, grab that.

I have 4 Gigs of Wintec Ampo 800 Mhz ram with the green heat spreaders and they work great. would recomend to anyone on a budget although they seem to perform just fine under stress.
