What is a stock multiplier? I want to OC the Black Edition of the 1090t and I am reading through tom'shardware overclocking instructions. I am simply guessing that it is a mobo or cpu multiplier, probably the cpu's multiplier. I thought that stock just means the setting or hardware/software that comes with a computer.

If you know what a multiplier is, a stock multiplier is pretty easy to figgure out. The stock multiplier is just the one which the cpu comes set at, which gives you the advertised speed. In normal cpus it is the highest multiplier possible, but since you have a black edition part you can push the multiplier past stock.
