Hello, I'm planning on a new computer build sometime in October, to be used primarily for 3D Graphics, Rendering, Photoshop, and After Effects, with some gaming and general media/word processing thrown in occassionally.
I know i'm going with an i7 920 processor, but am having trouble picking out a motherboard.
There have been articles on the P6T SE, and P6T, but I'm having a ton of trouble finding any information on the Workstation version of the P6T, with the exception of a few reviews on Newegg.com.

I'm not concerned with triple graphics card solutions, and even dual-card probably won't happen, but i AM very interested in the general performance numbers for the board, and especially its durability, longevity, operating temperatures, noise, and power-usage.
It seems almost impossible to find any heat or power usage benchmarks for motherboards.
So does anyone have any idea how the P6T WS Pro performs, how stable it is, how hot it runs, and how much power it uses?
From Tom's articles on X58 Boards. The rankings seem to be all over the place for ASUS models - does anyone know if their Workstation models are generally better?
ASUS's website says the WS Pro uses EPU 6-Engine energy saving and 16+2 phase power, but that doesn't really mean anything. Also, it's weird that the P6T SE uses so much power but is one of the coolest-operating boards.
