anyone tried this one on....I did so with trepidation, thinking I might blow the whole system up....
While running Prime95, I also ran 3dMark 06.
Granted the scores were down by about a quarter, but the temps stayed flat through the process and the benchmark actually completed. I was surprised at that. I know that 3dMark is primarily a GPU bench, but there is some work on the CPU, and two of the tests are actually CPU intensive.
Finally after two weeks of system failures and overclocking snafus it has all come together...at 4.0.
