How much and where could i get a laptop blacklight fixed or replaced?

Hi i have a hp pavilion dv6000 series laptop after alot of online research i found it was the blacklight that had gone out on my pc. I would like to know where in my area could someone fix or replace my laptop blacklight or even most likely replace it witha new one? one more question. will it cost alot?

If you are technically oriented, you might be able to pick up the lcd panel with the backlight on it cheap online and swap it out yourself.

OK It could be the backlight or it could be the inverter how do i know which one is the problem can someone tell me so i can buy one of them?
