I have a GeForce GTX 280 card that for some reason is not receiving power right after I installed it. I am using a PC Power and Cooling power supply for it. The card requires a 6 pin PCI-E plug from the power supply and an 8 pin plug. The power supply did not come with an 8 pin plug but the video card came with a wire adapter where you can plug in two 6 pin plugs that transforms it into an 8 pin plug. Everytime I power up the PC the video card is not receiving any power at all. Anybody have any ideas?
