I bought a nice new case for a build that I was considering but now have decided to hold off on. Would rather wait for G300 or RV8xx to arrive and Core i(x) to drop in price/mainstream...

I'm going to move my current build to the new case considering the benefits... Is there any reason for me to disconnect my CPU. It's obviously easy to pull out the rest of my compenents, but I don't want to remove the CPU especially with no "just in case" thermal grease around. Should I be alright leaving it installed? I can't think of any reason it would be detrimental.

Thanks for the help.
