Ok I'm new (-: I just fired up my new PC last night everything is running great but my CPU is only running at 1. something GHz not 3.2 like it should is there something I need to do ?

Can someone give me some advise on how to crank this thing up? (-:

Is Cool&Qiuet enabled? Download CPU-Z, and disable C&Q in your BIOS or in Windows/OS. After that monitor your clocks with CPU-Z. Try something like Prime95 to stress test your CPU whiles CPU-Z is running. Check if the clocks rise at all. What are the rest of your system configuration?

Here's some advice, READ YOUR CPU/MOBO MANUAL. Its amazing what you might learn about the product you purchased. LOL
