command prompt not opening in my system.if i type in run the system blinks once and nothing happens further i use windows xp os and dual core.please send me a solution to the problem thankyou

Try searching for a file called "cmd.exe" on your computer. If you can't find one, you may have repair your Windows installation.

Malware will also block the use of your command prompt., run Malwarebytes and see what it finds.
