Hi,

I have a gateway gaming laptop im looking to sell that needs
a new lcd screen and chassis case everything on the inside
is working properly.

I got it last christmas for about $1000. I looked up the price
of the lcd and chassis and the total would be about $150 not
including the labor. I looked up prices on ebay and usually this laptop
goes for no more than $500 or $600. Right now I am using an external
display. is repairing it worth it? what should I do?

It can be worth it, however it requires Extreme attention to detail. So it's been too much of a PITA for me to bother, I just replace the laptop.

If it has warranty and costs you less than $250 total with labor, I'd say its definately worth it.
