Hello,
i have an asus p5qc and intel q6600 with 2*2gb ram @667mhz.

i have read thread about overclocking this setting. i understand that the ram isnt so good. i wont be paying more on this useless board except for parts i could use for my next rig.and another point is i cant buy any good heat sink here in my country. so my question is: how far can q6600 go with overclocking under my setting(stock fan)?

i would really appreciate your suggestion. juz 2.8 would make me smile.

It will vary just keep an eye on your temps and see what you can do.

U will easily do 2.8 with stock voltage and hs.
bear in mind, if u increase voltage[vcore] it will also increase the temps, so try it with the stock v core-

Mine will run at 3.0 Ghz on the stock heatsink with only a boost from the VID of 1.2625 volts (about average) to 1.28 volts. Load temps with CoreTemp were around 60 C. It will run at 3.3 GHz at 1.32 volts with an AC7FP. But it took a TRUE and 1.425 volts to run at 3.6 GHz and 61 - 66 C. All 24 hour P95 stable
