Hey,

Here's the deal. I have a Nvidia GeForce 9800 GTX+ which hooked up to my HD TV 37 inch 720p. I'm using an adapter from DVI to HDMI. The problem is that when I'm trying to set the resolution higher than 1024x768, the refresh rate drops to 30Hz and the screen looks really crappy.

I was just wondering if it was normal or if there's is anything I'm missing that's causing this weird behavior.

Thanks

Use the Nvidia Control Panel to set up the display.

Ok I checked it out and basicly most of the resolution only offers 30Hz. I would like 1280x1024 of resolution but it's only 30Hz so the display looks really bad. I guess my HD TV does not support the resolution I want.
