i just installed the 64 bit edition of the vista home premium OS on my system that has a GA-790FXT-UD5P mobo, with a F4 bios version. at the system information at VISTA it recogizes the 955 CPU but saya its working at 1.61GHz. and the device Manager i can see the 4 cores, but the question is dose the system uses them all? or there is some problem with the recognition?? i have red that ther is a nee to update my bios so that vista will see the hole 3.2GHz, is it true??
(you can read about that at this thread --> http://www.eggxpert.com/forums/thread/527989.aspx)
and if so , i saw 2 versions of bios f3m and f5 ate GIGABYTES site, wich one to use???
thank you very much for your help!!!
